Hey! Fancy seeing you here!

 

My friends were always asking me for good recipes for this, that and everything and I was originally writing recipes off the top of my head on scrap pieces of paper. One day I decided to record all my culinary adventures (and misadventures!) on the internet so I could legitimately say "just google it". 

My approach to food is one of balance. People get so caught up in the good and bad of it all that they forget to appreciate the delicious and the company that comes with it. Feed yourself and others with food made with love and you will glow from the inside out. Feeding a crowd is my jam and more often than not our house is filled with people who have come to break bread with us. Literally bread, I love bread, there is always good bread at ours. My fiancé and I feel the same way and so we started up a wee project site called The Supper Club as a way to share our dinner party experiences in the hopes of inspiring others to do the same. 

I am a food scientist by trade and so I also love getting to the crux of why things work and why things taste as good as they do.
